Do you remember Blondie? I remember watching the Blondie movies with my Mom when I was a little girl. We would watch them on Sunday afternoons. They seemed like they were really old shows at the time since they were black and white. But I loved them. I would laugh each time Dagwood would knock down the poor mailman. It seemed like he couldn't do anything to avoid Dagwood. What a great show.

I just ordered My Three Sons: The Second Season, Vol. 2 (Full Frame)for my family. I LOVED this television series as a little girl. My Three Sons chronicles the life of the Douglas family. My Three Sons was a huge hit in the 60's. Fred MacMurray played the role of Steve Douglas, an aeronautical engineer and widower raising his three sons alone. This show brought hours of entertainment.

Edge of Darkness was a really good suspenseful drama. It is the story about a Boston police officer who is after the people responsible for his daughters death. What I liked most was that it was not predictable in any way. Most of the movies that I have watched over the last few months have been so predictable. Mel Gibson is back and better than ever. His acting was terrific.

It's Complicated

I watched It's Complicated over the weekend and I have to say it was terrific. I laughed out loud throughout. I am not much of an Alec Baldwin fan, so I was a little skeptical. I love Romantic Comedies so I decided to give it a try. He was actually really funny and of course Meryl Streep and Steve Martin were awesome.

This is an awesome tv series about a man named Walter White who has just be diagnosed with Lung Cancer and it looks like he may have as little as 18 months to live. Walter who is a chemistry teacher doesn't want to leave his family with little or no money, so he keeps his diagnosis a secret until he can figure out what to do. What makes matters worse, Walters wife Skyler who is in her late 30's is expecting her second child and their oldest child, Walter Jr. has cerebral Palsy.

Our local BlockBuster Store will be open at midnight so people can go and pick up their reserved copy of New Moon or they can rent it. But why rent when you can own? I was New Moon at the theater with my teenage daughters, but I am really looking forward to watching it on DVD with them. This series gives me a great excuse to connect with my teenagers who normal don't want to hang out with Mom.

Does anyone else collect TV series?

I have a huge collection. It all started when I was telling my girls about my favorite TV show as a little girl, Little House on a Prairie. So over a period of time we picked up every season and then we would add some of our other favorites to our collection.

One of the shows that we really enjoyed is Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. This show is about a female Doctor (Dr. Mike) and her life in the wild wild west. If you like westerns with cowboys and Indians plus a little bit of romance than this is up your alley.

This Squidoo lens is about everything Dr. Quinn. I hope you enjoy it.

There is nothing like a tear jerker movie. I have always been a very sensitive person. It is not unusual for me to start crying while watching a romantic movie. My husband has been teasing me for years, but I think he secretly appreciates my sensitivity.

Well it looks like its Four awards for the HBO miniseries "John Adams" including best miniseries and top acting awards for Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney who played John and Abigail Adams, and Tom Wilkinson who portrayed Benjamin Franklin in the HBO adaptation of the David McCullough biography produced by Tom Hanks.
